Course Description

The Cannabis 101 workshop provides an overview of the essential business skills and strategies needed to operate a licensed cannabis venture in Vermont. Participants will learn about the operational and fiscal management aspects of running one of the state’s three vertically integrated license types, including how to structure, plan, and sustain a compliant and profitable business.

The workshop will explore topics such as budgeting, inventory and compliance management, staffing considerations, and strategic planning within the cannabis industry. Designed for new or prospective licensees, this session aims to help participants understand what it takes to successfully manage and grow a cannabis enterprise in Vermont’s evolving regulatory landscape.

By the end of the session, attendees will have a solid foundation for approaching the business side of cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, or retail with confidence and informed strategy.
