APPRENTICESHIP GRADING POLICY

The minimum passing grade is 70 or above.

Grades are calculated automatically in Canvas in the following manner:

• 10 Points Attendance / Participation
• 20 Points Homework / Quizzes / Tests
• 30 Points Midterm Exam
• 40 Points Final Exam

All assignments must be completed by the posted due dates otherwise a permanent zero will be posted towards your final grade average. Assignments will not be re-opened past posted due dates. Midterm and Final exams cannot be retaken.

Early Warnings will be issued via email prior to the midterm exam to apprentices and their Employer Sponsor
who are not above the required grade of 70 or above.

Midterm Warnings will be issued via email, after the midterm exam is administered, to apprentices and their Employer Sponsor who are not above the required grade of 70 or above after the midterm exam.
