ONLINE TRAINING FOR CAREER GROWTH

ONLINE TRAINING

We partner with ed2go to provide flexible learning opportunities that range in length from 6 weeks to 36 weeks. These courses are online open enrollment programs. Gain in-demand skills in training that fits with your schedule as you earn industry-recognized certifications that help set you apart in the job market. (These trainings lead to stackable credentials, but not college credit.)

Segal AmeriCorps Education and VSAC Advancement awards can often help pay for these trainings.

Advanced Career-focused Training Programs are online courses and career training programs that prepare you for a new career, or help you advance within your current occupation. Learn new skills and prepare for industry-recognized certifications. Categories include: graphic design, business, computer applications, computer science, construction and trades, healthcare, hospitality, information technology, language, legal, teacher professional development, and writing.

Fundamentals Courses are instructor-facilitated, non-credit online courses designed to help individuals build foundational knowledge and practical skills in a wide variety of subject areas. Courses typically run for six weeks, either with a specific start date or self-paced tutorials (SPT). Courses include engaging lessons, assignments, discussion boards, and support from an instructor. Topics range from business, computer applications, healthcare, and project management to writing, personal development, and professional skills. These courses are ideal for learners exploring a new career field, strengthening existing skills, or preparing for additional education or workforce training.
